Gamka Safaris began on the banks of the Gamka River, where owner and outfitter Albert Swart developed his experience as an outdoorsman and Professional Hunter.

Since its establishment in 2008, the operation has grown beyond its Eastern Cape roots while retaining the principles on which it was founded: fair-chase hunting, conservation through responsible hunting and the preservation of large areas in which complete ecosystems can flourish.

Today, Gamka offers plains-game and dangerous-game hunting, fishing, photographic safaris and specialist driven hunts across a number of African destinations.
Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all experience, hunts are developed around the client's objectives, preferred species and the type of African experience they are looking for.
